Futures Literacy helps people understand why and how we use the futures to prepare, plan, and interact with the complexity and novelty of our societies. How to use them – the futures? How to imagine the unimaginable? How to use imagination as a quantitive tool which helps to put your ideas into action? How to learn how to work with futures to bridge the gap between faculties, ideas, and come up with the novel ideas. How to connect the dots? I am using futures and imagination as a way of thinking and helping others see the big picture first from the very distant and broad perspective, and then – we get back to here and now – trying to backcast on how we can collaborate to get back to the desired future(s). Which, obviously, you can design.
